Integrate a tobacco avoidance program within specific curricular areas such as Health Education,    Science, Reading/English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies

Prohibit and enforce, in partnership with district law enforcement officials, students under age 18 years from possessing, smoking, using, and sharing cigarettes and tobacco products on school campuses and at district activities

Adopt and target faculty and staff smokers to avoid cigarettes and tobacco products

Provide compliance education of Texas Tobacco Laws (see links below) to all students, faculty, and staff through whole-school assemblies with local partners (Law Enforcement and Health/Hospital Agencies), written data, student created products, poster contest, as well as video, websites, and CD-rom media.
