First 6 weeks grading period has come to an end. Our awards ceremony will be held Friday the 21st at 1pm in the auditorium. Hope to see you there. Invitations will be sent home Tuesday.

...It's a jungle in there! : ) Mr. Betts' fifth-graders proudly display their big cat drawings from art class. Mr. Betts recently returned for his second year as all-level art teacher for the district. When asked how things are going, he smiled and replied that he never knew Goodrich was here, but he was sure glad we found him! Thanks, Mr. Betts, for making learning fun for our students here at Goodrich!
... ¡Es una jungla allí! :) Los alumnos de quinto grado del Sr. Betts muestran con orgullo sus dibujos de grandes felinos de la clase de arte. El Sr. Betts recientemente regresó para su segundo año como maestro de arte de todos los niveles para el distrito. Announcement: The power in the district is off and the electric company expects power to return at approximately 2:30 p.m. For this reason, we are releasing students to the parents. We will run our regular bus routes at 1:30 p.m. Thank you for your patience during this time.

It has been a terrific first week back for staff and first day of school with students at Goodrich! Thanks to all our community business friends who have showered us and our students with back to school cheer! Thank you to FUMC Goodrich and other community partners for school supplies and backpacks, to the Polk County Chamber for goody bags for new teachers, to McWilliams & Son, Direct Solutions, Santos Seafood, FBC Livingston, Joe’s Italian, First National Bank of Livingston, and Alma’s Donuts for amazing meals during our back-to-school professional development! We at Goodrich are privileged to learn and work in such a caring community!
