• Election Law Calendar - May 6, 2023

Goodrich ISD will hold a General Election on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Trustee Position 1 and Trustee Position 2 will be on the ballot to serve three-year terms. Trustee Position 4 will be on the ballot to serve a 1-year term. Trustee Position 5 will be on the ballot to serve a two-year term.

• Position 1, Currently held by Rigoberto Reyes

• Position 2, Currently held by Lidia Merino

• Position 4, Currently held by Rosalie Blackstock

• Position 5, Currently vacant

The first day to file an application for a place on the ballot or declaration of write-in candidacy is Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Application Filing Dates and Times:
January 18, 2023 - February 17, 2023, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., excluding weekends. Applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023.

Goodrich ISD School Board Elections are held annually every May.

Early voting will be conducted at the Judicial Center in Livingston, Sub-courthouse in Onalaska and Sechrest Webster Community center in Corrigan. Election day locations have not been voted on yet by commissioners court but we will for sure have an election day location at the Goodrich admin. Building at the school board election in May.
