Yesterday, Goodrich ISD turned up the heat at our 4th Annual Staff Chili Cook-Off, and what a great time it was! With cold weather and the perfect chili-eating temperatures, our staff brought their best recipes and lots of excitement.
The chili was officially judged, and congratulations go out to our winners:

From savory to spicy, every pot was packed with flavor, and the friendly competition made it even more fun. Most of all, it was a wonderful time!

🎓 A Wonderful Day for Goodrich Alumni! 🎓
Last week, on October 22, 2025, Goodrich ISD had the pleasure of welcoming our alumni back to tour the district’s facilities. Alumni were treated to an inspiring presentation by Superintendent Daniel Barton, who shared the District Strategic Plan and defined “The Goodrich Way.”
To top it off, everyone enjoyed a delicious fish lunch prepared by the Hughes brothers themselves, Mr. Scott and Todd Hughes! 🐟
It was truly a wonderful day reconnecting with our alumni and celebrating the pride, tradition, and community spirit that make Goodrich ISD exceptional. 🧡🤍
