Goodrich staff members had a great day of professional development on Friday, getting back into the school groove with a district-wide breakfast, convocation by Raise Your Hand, Texas, and the Texas Strategic Leadership Initiative and lunch and door prizes provided by McWilliams Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. New and returning staff are excited about the 2024-2025 school year! Important Updates for You and Your Children
Goodrich ISD will continue to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) for 2024-2025
What does this mean for your child/children?
He or she is eligible for FREE BREAKFAST & FREE LUNCH at his/her school this school year. Your child can participate in free breakfast and/or free lunch without having to pay a fee or submit an application. This program helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals. No further action is required by you.
ALL MEALS WILL MEET FEDERAL AND STATE REQUIREMENTS
Students must take 3 of the 4 items offered at breakfast, and one of those items must be ½ cup of fruit. At lunch, students must take 3 of the 5 components offered, and one of those must be ½ cup of fruit or vegetable.
The cafeteria offers a wide variety of fruits and vegetables daily.
Students who choose to purchase an extra entree or one of our snack options or just milk must pay for the extra items.
This program does not apply to a la carte items.
Parents, did you know that if your child brings lunch to school from home, he/she can participate in the school lunch program? Encourage your child to explore the options available to him/her daily. Again, the cafeteria offers a wide variety of fruits and vegetables each day.

Calling all parents: 2024-2025 online registration help for all grade levels (PK-12), along with preK and kindergarten enrollment round up will be held on Monday and Tuesday, June 3 and 4, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Goodrich Elementary School computer lab. Parents needing registration assistance may check in at the elementary office.

Reminder: Memorial Day Holiday is Monday, May 27, 2024. Students and staff will return to school on Tuesday, May 28. Last day of school for students is Thursday, May 30, 2024, with early dismissal at 1:00 p.m.

Goodrich ISD has recently received an approved waiver from the Texas Education Agency indicating that Goodrich students will NOT have to make up school days missed due to recent flooding. Students' last day of school will be Thursday, 5/30/2024.
Goodrich ISD recibió recientemente una exención aprobada por la Agencia de Educación de Texas que indica que los estudiantes de Goodrich NO tendrán que recuperar los días escolares perdidos debido a las recientes inundaciones. El último día de clases de los estudiantes será el jueves 30/05/2024.
